The things that haven't happened yet.
The decisions you haven't made yet.
The problems you haven't solved yet.
They don't belong to today.
In Matthew 6, Jesus reminds us again and again that our Father already knows what we need. And then He gives us this beautifully practical instruction:
Do not worry about tomorrow.
Do Not Worry About Tomorrow was created to capture what that kind of trust might feel like.
Morning light pouring through open doors. Curtains caught in the breeze. An unmade bed. The sea somewhere just beyond the window.
Nothing to accomplish in this moment.
Just today.

The storm had been loud.
The wind had been relentless.
The waves had been filling the boat.
And then Jesus spoke.
Peace, be still.
Peace, Be Still was created not to capture the storm itself, but the moments just after it.
The clouds haven't disappeared yet. The water still carries the evidence of what just passed through. Everything isn't suddenly bright and beautiful.
But something has changed.
The storm no longer has the final word.
Inspired by Mark 4:39, this piece is a reminder of the authority of Jesus over the things that feel completely outside of ours. The disciples couldn't calm the sea. They couldn't control the wind.
But they were in the boat with Someone who could.
